Brenda Hampton is the Director of Mission Services for Goodwill Industries of East Texas. She came to Goodwill in 2014 as an Employment Specialist and quickly moved into the position of Mission Services Program Manager. It was always her passion to work with the youth and adults who have barriers to employment, by helping to prepare them to become productive members of society. She came to Goodwill with over 11 years of teaching experience at a local high school and is currently certified by the state of Texas to teach Secondary Business (Career and Technology) along with a Principal certification. Additionally, she is a certified Community Health Worker, Supported Employment Specialist and Job Coach.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a second Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her dream is to one day have the opportunity to expand the Goodwill Youth Works Academy into a credentialed academy here at Goodwill Industries of East Texas.

Brenda is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Heroines of Jericho. She has served as a volunteer for many organizations. She sits on the Texas Home Visiting Community Advisory Board and is a member of the CHW Planning Committee. She is married to her wonderful husband Karlous and they have two wonderful children.
