Candice Christian is an experienced Director with an extensive work history. Over the past forty years she has served in the corporate arena for AT & T, provided healthcare management for multiple major hospitals and clinical facilities, facilitated health education as a Community Health Worker in Texas, executed nonprofit fundraising for a number of non-profit educational institutions including the University of Texas at Tyler and is now proud to serve as the Director of Retail for Goodwill of East Texas.

Candice has lived in East Texas since 2012 and has a passion for Tyler and the East Texas community and understands the valuable role non-profits play in assisting and enriching the lives of its residents. She serves on the board of Champions for Children, is a member and active committee participant for the Women’s Fund of Smith County, is a graduate of Leadership Tyler Class 29, and is a long-standing member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – participating on the board for the past eight years in a variety of leadership roles and is currently the AFP President for 2023.

She attended Alvernia University in Pennsylvania, as well as Western Governors University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Management. In her spare time, Candice enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and spending time with her friends and big East Texas family.
